The House passed H.R. 3663, the Iran Terror Finance Act, by a vote of 246-181 this week, and it's worth a mention. The bill, if it were to go into law, would require the president to certify to Congress that an Iranian bank hasn’t funneled money to terrorist organizations before it gets sanctions relief.

Allow me to play a little catch-up on some of the bills the House passed last week. H.R. 1644, the Supporting Transparent Regulatory and Environmental Actions in Mining (STREAM) Act passed by a vote of 235-188. On that bill, I was one of only ten Republicans to vote no. The other bill, S. J. Res. 22, would overturn the Environmental Protection Agency’s “Waters of the United States” rule.
